Rosie's story is a Cinderella-style tale of rags to riches (or rust to renovation and renown). She spent years locked up in a garage, unloved and forgotten until she was finally rescued, as a possible project in 2008. She was fully restored over the summer of 2010 and sprayed a lovely green and white, but her big moment was yet to come. In the spring of 2012, Visit England was searching for a suitable camper for a 10 week adventure following the route of the Olympic flame. The glass slipper fitted and Rosie was given a beautiful new coat for her adventure. Visit England's fan in a van, Rachel Kershaw won the role of driver and she & Rosie traveled the country, blogging and tweeting as they went. Rosie even finished her trip with a tea party in the tower of London - venturing where no campervan has ever gone before!

Now back to her lovely green self she is ready for some holidays!
