Craig & Kathryn’s Magical Mystery Tour of Cornwall

After years of listening to Craig wish for a drive in a split screen campervan, I thought it only right to hire his dream motor for our 10 year anniversary. Enter stage right, O’Connors Campers!

We spent most of the week in Kissinger who took us on a magical mystery tour of Cornwall. We immediately felt like celebrities as we started our drive towards the smuggling village of Polperro, with people smiling and taking pictures of us as we went.

We then managed to take in Newquay’s Watergate Bay and Bedruthan Steps, before heading west to St Ives (and a precarious walk along the rugged south west coastal path!) Undeterred, Kissinger carried us all the way through picture-postcard Zennor for a spot of cream tea (done the Cornish way of course!) and on towards Sennen Cove – fabulous for surfing!

We swung by the Minack open air theatre, which was open for day visitors, and which provides a breathtaking view of Porthcurno beach.

Homeward bound, “Kissy” took us all the way up to Port Isaac and the legendary Tintagel, where we rocked up to watch the world’s most amazing sunset over the ocean – complete with double rainbow!

A truly spectacular way to celebrate 10 years – and all thanks to the great team at O’Connors, who looked after us every step of the way. We will be back!!
