Battenberg (the van) is a 1962 right hand drive splitscreen from the hot and sunny climes of South Africa. He has a very small back window and bullet indicators (that's just for you VW aficionados out there). He was named in a competition we ran with Innocent Smoothies at their Village Fete in Regents Park in 2007. The name just seemed to fit with our image of the vans as a little quirky and a little tasty. So go on - choose Battenberg the king of cakes, I mean vans.

Battenberg was proud to be chosen to accompany Lynda Bellingham on a television culinary adventure! The resulting series "My Tasty Travels with Lynda Bellingham" was screened on ITV1, in September 2012.

Fancy a bit of Battenberg? Lovely cake. Lovely van.
