We have just had our 1000th Hire! We cannot quite believe it. A lovely young couple took Battenberg away for their first wedding anniversary and as it was such a significant number for us, we threw a bottle of champagne into their hamper. Then all of us who were here today – Pete, Zoe, Lindsey, Sam, Daisy, Melissa, Gaye and Tim all celebrated with some more champagne and a devon cream tea. My it was good and very little work got done this afternoon! We cannot believe that is 1000 times we have taken bookings and made sure we know all our customers wants and needs, 1000 times we have cleaned the vans, 1000 times we have filled hampers, checked and equipped the vans, 1000 times we have shown people how the vans work, how to drive them, waved goodbye and then heard about the lovely times people have had when they get back. That means we have provided \’awesome customer service\’ (a customer quote this weekend!) to approx 3000 to 4000 people and they have had great holidays in our gorgeous team of vans.
