Wow what can we say? Just back from a weeks holiday in a campervan rented from O’Connor’s. The whole family loved our camping holiday. Trust me it takes a lot to get my teens to look up from their phones & last week I don’t think I saw a phone at all. For me it took me back to my childhood holidays BUT with a modern twist -camp sites with hot showers & power pick ups (re-charge the cameras ready for the next days adventures).
Loved the slower pace of life (about 45mph downhill), but everyone loves a campervan, even going 15mph up hill. Smiles & waves all the way. Every day a new place to visit & every night a new camp site. Zip-wired over the Eden project / trip to St Austell Brewery (to keep my husband happy ) / coast to coast – 11 mile walk for the girls – 22 mile bike ride for the boys / zorbing & the Bristol balloon festival for a grand finish .
