We had an epic time in Battenberg in May, aided by a lot of luck from the weather. She\’s a lovely old girl and we really enjoyed driving her. Had a good tour of Cornwall, a little surfing, a pop into the Eden Project and some mostly nice campsites. Only one I\’d avoid is Penance Mill (toilets/showers hadn\’t been cleaned and bins not emptied) in Falmouth, however Falmouth itself is lovely. Would def recommend Bay view farm in Looe – beautifil scenery and some huge shire horses to play with! Not to mention a friendly farm dog/cat and the people are lovely. We\’ll probably be back next year and are already eyeing up Barbarossa! Loved the fact the van came with everything we needed and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch (the cheese was delicious).
