We rented I am Spartacus last year and 10 months on it’s still one of the fondest memories we have… It started well, sunshine, excitement and anticipation. O’Connors were thoughtful, provided us with tea and coffee on arrival, and we had a starter pack of jam, tea towels and cake…all essentials of a week on the road.
We were soon on our way, after a little engine revving to get Spartacus going…excitement and anticipation quickly turned to terror and exhiliration: no idea how to steer and drive at the same time and a smile on our face! Our adventures took us to Cornwall, listening to Jake Bugg, Bob Marley and a whole host of indie music, sunglasses on, windows down. Padstow, Lundy Island, Newquay, st Ives, Woolacombe, Falmouth all travelled to in the week.
Sand in our feet, happiness in our hearts, laughter in the air. The world was ours, we could do what we wanted, when we wanted, making new friends, waking on a cliff edge, overlooking the beach. There are 4 wonders of the heart…love, wonder, happiness and kindness and we experienced all 4 in the week. True bliss.
