As a surprise for my fiance\’s 30th Birthday, I booked one of his faviourite things, a VW Camper (split screen). I chose Battenberg, he is a cutie! It was a very well received birthday present! We must say all the guys at O’Connor’s are very friendly & helpful! It was also a nice touch to receive a welcome hamper with all those bits you wish you had bought, tea, coffee, milk and washing up liquid! We had a fantastic time driving around, it was especially fun when it\’s time to brake! What brakes! It takes a bit of getting used to but you are in the swing of it after about 10 mins! We travelled to a few places, Bude, Poughill, Tintagel, Newquay, Lands end, Penzanze, St Micheales Mount, Eden Project, Looe & Tavistock! Not bad going! I think we loved Tintagel the most; it was one of those places you just end up at when turning off the main roads. We stayed in a lovely camp site in Poughill called Wooda Farm Park. Very peaceful & tranquil. Newquay wasn\’t really a great stopping point, I think we found it a bit to touristy & our camp was a bit butlins-esque (Hendra Holiday Park). Our final night in Tavistock (Harford Bridge) was a nice site also & quite funny as we bumped into 2 fellow O’Connor Campers, Mr Orange & Barbarossa. We all seemed to have had a lovely time aided by the great weather! We would recommend the experience to everyone, especially with O’Connor’s Campers, you couldn’t ask for more.
