We have now done a lot of research into becoming carbon neutral and after much soul searching have decided to go with planting broadleaf trees on Dartmoor and in the Tamar Valley. We are working with Moor Trees (www.moortrees.org), a charity that was established to restore areas of wild and native woodland on Dartmoor. They now create and restore native woodland, grow trees from locally collected seed and provide education and training to promote climate change awareness. They are going to be planting about 90 trees for us this year so you can feel virtuous as you pootle around in your recycled campervan, knowing that your carbon emissions have been offset. We have also changed our power supply in the workshop to a renewable source and we are thinking hard about what else we can do to reduce our effects on the environment. Sam
