Off we went in Wolverine, heading for Sidmouth and a really elite campsite called Oakedown. We had to smile on looking around us to see 4×4’s galore sitting next to brand new top of the range caravans with all the mod cons and more.
Wolverine looked very cute and cosy next to them and we couldn’t have cared less that we didn’t have a massive awning or a colour tv, a microwave or even a doormat that said welcome(although next time I will pack one so we can wipe our feet).
Setting up the bed the first night was a scream and I’m sure the neighbors were looking on in disgust as Wolverine rocked and swayed as we tried to arrange the mattresses and duvet. SUCH FUN.
It’s wonderful getting up in the morning and popping the kettle on and experiencing that smell of Calor gas, inspiring and unforgettable. Thanks!
