I got in touch with O’Connors very last minute to try and arrange a suprise weekend for my husband\’s birthday. We have been on holiday for many years in Devon & Cornwall and have recently started seeing lots of hired VW campervans and he has always commented on what a great holiday it would be. I told him the night before and he could hardly sleep. We travelled the next morning from the Midlands to Okehampton and the look on my husbands and children\’s faces when they saw \’Shiny Norman\’ was a picture in itself. They couldn\’t wait to get in. We spent the first day just driving really not sure where we were going and ended up in Hayle in a lovely camp site with wonderful views, the kids loved sleeping in the roof and slept soundly while we sat outside with a nice chilled beer. The following day we made our way up to Padstow where we met some family at Mother Iveys Bay and had a wonderful birthday BBQ. We were the lucky ones as we chose the best weekend for weather we have had this year so far as you will see from the picture. What a lovely experience and maybe one day we will do it again.
