We picked up Barb on a high from our wedding. Driving her for the first time was an experience getting to know her little ways, her gears and breaking; but it did not take long to love her! We were busy bees and visited a few places. We started off in Port Issac, then went and to Padstow and stayed the first night at the Dennis Cove campsite. The second day saw us take a trip to Wadebridge, and have a lovely lunch at Zoo-ba best burgers around!
From there we went to Tintagel and stayed at the campsite Headland. Wednesday, we went to see Tintagel castle, followed by a trip to Widemouth bay and Boscastle. ending up at the Hedley Wood campsite. Our final day we spent in Launceston at their agricultural show. followed by a lovely meal in the Tavey Inn down the road from Harford Bridge campsite.
Before heading back to Okehampton on Friday morning to begrudgingly take Barb back. We had a great week away in Barb and enjoyed the queues that followed behind us. There was a lot of love for her from other tourists except those in the queue! A perfect holiday and an even better Honeymoon. Thank you O’connors the experience was great. One to be repeated.
