Monday- Hello Mr Orange and Hello Sunshine. 4 Happy Campers head off to Cornwall singing songs and wearing shades. We spend a fab night at the Golden Lion Pub – we eat beer battered cod & chips, drink ginger beer and sleep soundly. Tuesday – Good Morning Mr Orange and Good Morning Rain!
We draw smiley faces on Mr O’s steamed up windows while Dad attempts to dismantle the awning in horizontal rain. We visit Pendennis castle and eat cornish pasties before Dad puts up the awning in horizontal rain. We laugh he does not but we all sleep soundly. Wednesday – Good morning Mr O and welcome back sunshine.
Off to the Eden Project-Heaven on to Charlestown more pasties and Ice Creams and fudge – Heaven. The kids sleep soundly whilst we notice the gales arrive and do not sleep a wink for fear of Mr Orange taking off! Thursday – Good morning Mr Orange Good morning storm and Goodbye all the other campers!
We visit Looe and eat fish and chips and head to our last stop – it is empty as everyone here has also gone home and the offer of a camping pod for the night is too tempting. We park Mr Orange in front of the pod eat more pasties and rip out the bedding to put in the pod. Mr Orange looks sad but we all sleep soundly!
Friday – Good Morning and Goodbye Lovely Mr Orange x We enjoy a fry up one last time in Mr Orange give him back his lovely blue cushions and clear out the Pod whilst the girls draw footprints on Mr Orange and refuse to help as they dont want to leave. I can forgive them We will all miss you Mr Orange xx Mum Dad Amy and Freya x
