The five of us, and the dog, were brimming over with excitement when we went to collect Mr Orange……and we weren’t disappointed! Soon we were on our way down the A30 heading for our first campsite at Mother Ivey’s bay. We took the awning, which was easy to put up, and enabled us to shove in wet suits, boards, the dog etc! We used Mr Orange at Harlyn Bay as a ‘proper’ surfing family would….we got changed in him, got dried in him, had lunch in him, played games in him… the kids loved it. Sleeping in him was fun too, the four beds in the roof were spacious enough for the children and their ‘stuff’. We had downstairs along with the dog (of course!). We did the same at Woolacombe Bay. What a fantastic experience, one which I had always wanted to do. My daughter, Emma aged 8, wrote a small poem… Mr Orange you were great, You really were a good mate, You took us to the beach, And looked like a giant peach! Thank you Mr Orange, and thank you O’Connors Campers !! The Pike family
