Battenberg was the best birthday present ever. Picking him up on Monday in the pouring rain I was absolutely terrified. What if I can’t drive it (I think I scared my boyfriend too). However, I very quickly picked it up and the fantastic weather for the rest of the week meant that this has been the most awesome week. Pootling along the tiny tiny roads (thanks to the Sat Nav) we had to endure many times of reversing and quick breaks, but Battenberg stepped up awesomely. Sitting outside the van and watching the sunset with my boyfriend every night has given me some of the best memories. As we made our way home, you could tell Battenberg wanted to stay on the beach in the sun, or was that just me not wanting to go? I cannot wait until I can do this again. Thanks for a week to remember battenberg.
