Uma became our companion for a week of exploring in August 2011. She never failed despite some nervous moments near the top of a steep hill or along a road that looked too narrow for Twiggy on a diet. Admittedly her gearbox was somewhat eccentric. 2nd in particular was mostly a distant ambition rather then a reality. Emily, 7 and William, 5 loved their den in the roof and we found the downstairs surprisingly comfortable. In all honestly we could have done with a little less rain, but the sun came out enough for us to feel every bit a part of the Cornwall landscape with our wetsuits, surfboards and vintage VW. Thank you Uma, we loved every minute in your company and despite the portentous name, you didn’t needed reviving once! James, Gill, Emily and William
