We picked up UMA on the wettest day this year!!!!! So much for packing shorts and t-shirts! After running thru\’ the basics of the van we were off…I was sat in the back drying off and Dillon (our 3 year old) was in the front navigating my husband to Croyde. We stoppped at Braunton for excellent Fish & Chips and at last the sun came out and stayed out. Croyde was perfect for kite flying and we enjoyed staying at Ruda, a family friendly park with entertainment. The next day after a very squashed night (Dils decided he didn\’t want to sleep in the roof at 2am so bunked in with us!) we headed towards Exmoor, Lynton and Lynmouth. Not really sunhat and shorts weather but we explored and had a great day. Exmouth was fantastic and was the best day for weather…luckily we got there because we ran out of petrol on the motorway. Be warned keep topping her up because we still thought she was half full-little blighter! We took Uma back Thursday and the time went too quick. Dillon kissed her goodbye and hasn\’t stopped talking about her since. Thanks O\’Connors for a great adventure.
