Experience
Well, we have been hiring out VW Campers for holidays for over 12 years. We have seen close to 9000 hires during that time so we have quite a bit of experience with this sort of thing. With quite a few vans on our fleet we have a full-time, committed team of staff who are dedicated to keeping the vans running smoothly and ensuring our customers are happy. Your holiday is our business so we are focussed on getting it right.
Location
We are ideally placed for exploring Devon, Cornwall or Somerset. We are just a few minutes from the A30 so easy access through to Cornwall. Make the long (or short) journey to our workshop in Okehampton in your car, then slow down a gear and explore the coast and countryside at a retro pace. With too many scenic locations, two National Parks and miles of glorious coastline, this part of the country has a lot to offer.
Taking Care of your Car
You’ll find us on the edge of Okehampton, surrounded by fields of sheep and Dartmoor ponies. We have lots of space here so you can park your car (free of charge) for the duration of your holiday. Our workshop has space for 25 cars, so your car will be safe and sound while you are out building a relationship with your van.

Our campsite list has lots of great suggestions and has been compiled using customer recommendations and locals favourites. It’s our thing. We have a loyal team of staff who just love campervans and we make sure we tweak operations each year to ensure everything runs even better. We want you to be impressed from the moment you book your campervan until the final farewell. Spare Superhero Campervan
We always keep a ‘spare’ van at the workshop. It gives Steve something to do while all the vans are out on hire and its there just in case one of our vans needs some assistance.
VW California Campers too!
While we adore our retro campers we understand that you might want to travel up to Scotland or even over to France. While our vintage vans are happy pottering around Devon, Cornwall & Somerset our new VW California Campers just love a serious road trip and will offer you all the luxury & speed you’ll need.
The kettle is always on
Take a moment to relax after your journey here. Grab a cuppa and enjoy the Dartmoor scenery before you meet your van. Or enjoy your brew while you look round the workshop. We have two big picnic benches outside the office (if you have lunch packed) plus a comfy waiting room with sofas and campervan guides etc. One family (naming no names) often has breakfast at the picnic benches on their final morning. And if you want to look around the other vans when you return we’ll be happy to show you a few of the fleet, over a cuppa. Am I too tea-orientated?
