Bringing your pet pooch with you
A holiday with your dog starts here...
We encourage our customers to bring their dogs on holiday with them. Throughout the South West there are miles and miles of coastal and moorland walkies to enjoy, plus dogs are welcome guests at most pubs, eateries and campsites.
We charge a one-off £30 per hire to cover the extra cleaning involved and you are welcome to bring along two furry friends, any more might be a bit of a squeeze! If you do decide to bring your dog along we just ask that you bring plenty of doggie blankets with you to protect the VW campervan or motorhome’s upholstery from sharp claws and muddy paws!
We have listed some useful resources below which provide information about great places to stay and visit with your pet whilst in Devon and Cornwall. Our Campsite List includes details of dog friendly sites with all the facilities to ensure that your dog has a fun holiday too, super!
Arriving with your dog
When you arrive to collect your VW campervan or motorhome we have lots of shady places to park your car and you are very welcome to bring your dog into the office where there is always a jar of doggie treats sitting on the desk to welcome your pooch. There is fresh water for thirsty pups (and tea for thirsty owners too), plus a lovely rural, traffic-free dog walk right next to our site
We all love taking our dogs to the beach with the family. Seeing them galloping along the shoreline, tails wagging furiously before digging a big hole in the sand to show you, just makes a holiday. It’s clear that they love the beach as much as we do! During the main holiday season (between Easter and the end of October) some beaches may impose restrictions on dog walking at the more popular locations. It’s useful to know where you will be welcome to avoid doggy disappointment. The links below detail up-to-date information to help you plan your days.
